Mount Taranaki is covered with snow and looks majestic. Rhododendrons around the house are blooming they are not waiting for the festival. Look at Kaponga!.

In the orchard we are picking up or harvesting the fallen nuts and in the processing factory, The Nutcracker Suite, we are processing them into exquisite macadamia kernel and then storing them to be on processed as required. They taste great and it is always very satisfying to see all our hard work result in barrels of creamy kernel. Little power packs of goodness.

We also have fertiliser to spread and Bill has been finishing off the pruning. The Bellbirds and Tuis are making a racket as they compete for partners and protect their food sources. One Tui in particular is guarding a flowering cherry tree, puffed up and hooting to warn off rivals.

Christine has been consulting with several future brides and some of our products are winging their way overseas as couples return home to marry. We have put up a catalogue of favours on the web, check it out and World Pay is about to appear so you will be able to purchase products from this site. We have appeared in the Rhododendron Festival programme and are contacting tour operators to let them know more about us and direct them to the web site.

Later this month the Daily News has an insert all about weddings and we will be in that. This is a great publication to keep for future reference not only if you are planning a wedding but also if you are planning any special occasion from conferences to anniversaries. So watch this space for more news later this month.
