As we launch our new website it is time to reflect on the two websites we are taking down.

Our eldest son Paul spent countless hours learning to code and then putting up our original emacadamia site. He was in London working as an engineer; we were home in Oakura, Taranaki.

We had lots of great comments about it. People loved the photos, liked our monthly enews and the range of retail products we produced. People from all around the world wrote in and ordered products.

Later when we developed our slices, Paul once again spent countless hours putting together the slicednuts website. This looked great and for a while we called the nuts we brought in but did not grow by a different brand-Simply Nuts.

He also has designed labels, advertisements, road signs, T shirts… an endless list and still supports us in this way.

This month we have had serious enquiries from Thailand and China from businesses that have discovered our former sites. Today I got a phone call from China, such is the power of clear information online.

So as we look forward in constructing this new site Bill and I also look back with appreciation and thanks for all the work Paul did on our behalf.

Paul is back from his travels, is married to Pip and now is father of our first grandson Lachlan. He lives in New Plymouth. Many thanks Paul and much love from Mum and Dad.
