Sliced nuts look and taste wonderful, are versatile and so easy to use.

Nuts as whole kernel are eaten on the back of the mouth by the molars, often swallowed before savoured; slices are eaten on the front of the palate, savoured and provide interesting textures or ‘mouth feel ’.

Many people are wary of eating nuts as they have old fillings which can fall out or dentures where the nut gets behind the plate. Slices allow them to enjoy nuts again.
